Not another cooling gimmick
firth is just breathable organic cotton — the thing that stops trapping heat in the first place.
Stop Overheating Tonight →You kick the blanket off, get cold, pull it back on 20 minutes later, then wake up annoyed and exhausted. And yes, the “cooling” pillow you already bought did not fix the blanket trapping warm air around you.

The fabric physics
Dense bedding traps a pocket of warm air against your body. firth uses an open muslin weave, so air can move through the fabric instead of sitting there. No lab-tech theatre. No synthetic coating. Just a lighter weave doing what a blanket should have done all along.
How it works
Three layers of open-weave organic cotton. That’s the entire mechanism.

100% organic cotton
Natural fibre with no synthetic cooling coating.
Open-weave structure
The loose weave lets air pass through the fabric.
Multi-layer warmth
Soft layers add cover without dense heat-trapping weight.
01
Dense fabric holds a warm pocket of air close to your body.
02
The crinkled cotton structure leaves space for airflow.
03

See the actual weave
Open, crinkled muslin sits lighter than dense bedding. The texture is visible because the airflow story should not be hidden halfway down the page.

Most regular blankets use denser fabric that holds warm air close. firth uses open-weave organic cotton muslin so air can move through the fabric more easily.
firth is not a medical product and does not treat hot flashes or any medical condition. It is an open-weave organic cotton blanket made to let air circulate instead of trapping warm air. For medical questions, speak with your doctor.
firth does not rely on synthetic coatings, lab-tech language, or complicated claims. It uses breathable organic cotton muslin with a lighter open weave.
Three layers of 100% organic cotton muslin with a naturally crinkled, open-weave texture.
Machine wash cold or warm with similar colours. Tumble dry low or line dry. The muslin texture gets softer with every wash.
firth is designed as a generous throw blanket for bed layering, sofa use, or sleeping with a lighter breathable layer.
Netherlands and Belgium orders usually arrive in 2–4 business days. Germany usually arrives in 3–5 business days.
Try it at home for 30 days. If it is not right for your bed, return it in good condition for a refund.
Our story
firth started with a blunt idea: if the problem is dense bedding trapping warm air, the answer should begin with better fabric, not a more expensive gadget. We chose GOTS-certified organic cotton muslin because it is light, open-weave, washable, and honest about how it works.

The fabric gives a light layer without the heavy sealed-in feeling.

If you wake up hot, kick the blanket off, pull it back on, and wake up tired again, you do not need another gadget pitch. firth focuses on the part actually touching you: the fabric, the weave, and how easily air can move through it.
